Trilobites découverts sur Mars par le Rover - janvier 2016

Sur terre, les trilobites (Trilobita) constituent une classe d'arthropodes antennates marins fossiles ayant vécu durant le Paléozoïque.  

Les insectes, les scorpions les araignées et les crustacés tels que les crabes ou les crevettes appartiennent également à l'embranchement des arthropodes et sont de lointains cousins du trilobites.

 Cependant, même si leur carapace dorsale ressemble plus ou moins aux limules actuels, ils n'ont donc pas de descendants directs.

Voici ce qui ressemble à deux trilobites trouvés sur Mars cette semaine par le site Whatsupinthesky37 de Youtube.

S'agit-il d'une preuve qu'il existait une grande surface d'eau, qui recouvrait la région,  dans la zone photographiée ?

This is a quick one for me.. 11 minutes or so going over this cool shot that our buddy Kjell sent over last week. It has strange objects all over it. I love the one that looks oval and the pyramid looking capstone at the top. Even the thing to the bottom left of the capstone looking piece is really cool! I hope you enjoy!
