Dans ces deux photos du Rover Opportunity, nous avons un visage de martien regardant au loin.
Son menton se dresse comme pour montrer sa fierté, l'orifice de son oreille est rond, et on voit une légère crête d'un nez ... comme celui d'un reptilien.
Scott waring évoque la possibilité sur cette photo d'une paréidolie mais pour lui ces visages sculptés sont réels.
Voici son commentaire en langue anglaise :

A lot of readers beg me not to report the faces, because I could be a major leader in the UFO researcher community if I over look them. I don't want to be anyones leader. I am only seeking the truth, which must never be ignored...for any reason.
Some confused people may even say this is Pareidolia, which is the illusion of seeing faces everywhere.
I have masters in counselling and could easily open my own counselling office and charge $100+ US an hour.
I know psychology, and yet, I'm at your disposal here.
Pareidolia is seeing something thats not real...but as you see in these photos...they are real.
You see, Pareidolia is the latest and greatest word used by the CIA to make you believe that what you see, is not what you see. CIA are trained at using psychology to manipulate the masses and its working. Remember they use to call every UFO in the sky a weather balloon. Then decades later they started using the work Venus. Now they use the term Pareidolia. Many of the faces I have reported on this site have better detail of a human like head than many sculpted or carved heads in the Louve museum in Paris. So...does that mean the artistically made heads in the Louve are not real...that its Pareidolia? Psychology would say yes. Pschology would also say the carved faces of US presidents in Mount Rushmore is also Pareidolia. Even the simple act of looking in the mirror...so, as you can see, Pareidolia is a flawed theory, because you see philosophy would say its impossible to prove that you yourself are even real. So, looking in a mirror at yourself, is Pareidolia

Chacun a le droit de ne pas être d'accord avec Scott.
Il n'a pas toujours raison; mais il faut lui reconnaître, que sur la totalité des photos analysées en provenance du rover et dont il s'est fait une spécialité (parmi bien d'autres ufologues) , nombres d'artefacts sont troublants et nous renvoient à notre propre finitude d'humains sur Terre !

Voici une découverte eschatologique de la fin d'un bipède martien : un squelette bipède à l'instar de l'homme mais sur Mars !
Nous observons deux membres inférieurs reliés par un bassin, au-dessus une cage thoracique, les vertèbres de la colonne osseuse qui devraient normalement rejoindre un crâne !
Malheureusement la tête et les deux membres supérieurs ont disparu probablement par le processus d'érosion.
C'est une découverte remarquable. La hauteur de ce martien est d'environ 3 mètres si l'on se réfère aux dimensions de la colline.
Il s'agit du second squelette découvert sur Mars par le Rover Curiosity !
